CIPP Drain Lining Foundation Course

We have developed a foundation course on drain lining techniques based on over 32 years of drainage industry experience including 20 years of drain liner installations, the course is approved by the National Association of Drainage Contractors and certified by EU Skills with all successful attendees being added to the EUSR Register

Course Content

drain lining trainingThe training course has been mapped out against the Drain Repair Book 3rd Edition and relates to the relining of domestic and light industrial pipe work up to 225mm in diameter, we will cover Health & Safety issues, safe use of equipment, host pipe preparation, choosing the correct lining system and materials for the job, safe use of resins, drain liner preparation, liner insertion and inflation methods

The course will include three above ground installations including a drag in liner, a patch liner repair and a sectional liner (example - Installing a 5mtr section of liner between two live lateral connections)

Who is the course for ?

The course is ideal for existing installers and those who are looking to either venture into the industry for the first time or possibly move up from standard patch repair installations onto full liner repairs, the course should also be of interest to drain surveyors, estimators and those who complied site reports to ensure that the correct repair method has been chosen and priced for before the installers attend site

Course Aims

This is not your standard mix Resin Part A with Resin Part B, wet out the liner and push it into the pipe kind of course, we find that most defective liners are due to poor decision making or a general lack of knowledge on what is available on the market. As installers ourselves we can advise on how a drainage system design and its strucutral defects should affect your liner choice and installation method

Attendees will leave the course having demonstrated that they are aware of what is required to choose the correct repair material and installation method in order to undertake a safe and successful drain liner installation, the course is delivered by impartial experienced installers
